Port Blair, Apr 24: Recently as part of AndamanfightsCovid19 initiative the NGO Rights For All (RFA ) approached Lt Cdr Vivekanandan Manoharan from the Indian Navy for an aid in distribution of handmade Cloth masks amongst residents of the Great Nicobar Island.
As all transit services have been withheld view lockdown. The officer along with Capt Shantanu Mukherjee Commanding Officer, INS Baaz with his team has magnanimously helped in making this initiative a huge success. The Baaz team along with AC, Campbell Bay actively distributed 300 numbers of face mask amongst the people of Campbell bay.
RFA will continue its association with Indian Navy to reach out to the most deserving people in the remotest corners of the islands thus proving its mission statement …’Hamesha Aapke Saath.’
