Port Blair, April 16: People from poor backgrounds residing in and around the Ograbraj area lauded the efforts of the Ograbraj Police Station as they left no stones unturned to help them with food.
The highly appreciated part of the service done is that the staffs of the police unit have supplied the ration articles to the needy from their own contribution.
As per reports as per information they receive from the beat staffs or from the PRI members, they reach their doors of the needy for help.
Very poor families of Chouldary, Sippighat, Badamash Pahad, Mithkhari, Port Mout have been supported by the Police Unit with ration articles that contain essential items like Rice, Sugar, Salt, Masala Powder, Tea, Oil et cetera. SDPO, Mr. Ajay Kumar Rai and SHO, Ograbraj, Inspector Vinit Kumar Mourya themselves monitored that no one in their jurisdiction sleeps empty hungry.
