Port Blair, April 15: Councilor of Ward Number 22, Mrs. Vaishali Rani Dayal is distributing ration articles to the needy people of her ward since yesterday. The step of the councilor was highly appreciated by the people who were on struggling to get food during this lockdown period.
As per reports, the Councilor ward of number 22 has identified around 280 families in her ward who are in tremendous need of help and until now she has distributed ration articles to 67 families of Brookshabad, Corbyn’s Cove area which contains 07 kg rice, One-liter oil, One-kilogram salt, 02-kilogram potato, 02-kilogram onion, sambar masala, and one packet mix masala.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, Mrs. Rani said that they not only distributing ration articles but also informing people on how to take precautions to stay safe from the COVID-19 virus.
