Port Blair, Apr 12: Development Commissioner of South Andaman suggested assistance in providing relief to the poor, especially stranded/unemployed Migrant labour’s in view of the lockdown imposed.
Vidya Yuvakendra Foundation(NGO) has accepted DC’s suggestion’s to provide relief to migrant labour’s and Vidya Yuvakendra Foundation(NGO) has distributed Dry Ration Kit including Rice, Dhal, Onion, Potato and Mustard Oil to 120 Labour’s families(360Persons) living in Japannallah, Bathu Basthi.
This distribution was made on 10th April Friday at 11A.M and maintained Social Distance under the leadership of Director. J. Mohanraamkumar and A.Meenambal Vidya Yuvakendra Foundation(NGO) with the co-ordination of Mohanasundaram(VYK).
Further Vidya Yuvakendra foundation(NGO) identified another 200 migrants labour’s families at Mahaveer colony, Pathergudda to distribute Dry ration kits and this may be distribute in forth coming days.
