Port Blair, March 07: Unnati, Labour and Industries Departments jointly organized awareness generation function on self employment with special focus on tourism related employable training programme from 01-03-2020 to 04-03-2020 in the remotest villages of N&M Andaman involving Gram Panchayat.
The meeting was addressed by former Director Tourism and Industries Mr. C. Mohammed, Mr. MadhusudhanBaidyaLabour Commissioner and Mr. Mohammed Ishaq Assistant Director Industires.
An interaction programme was also organized to ascertain the reasons why entrepreneur are not setting up self employment units despite various facilities being made available to them by Govt. of India and Island Administration. From the interaction various important points emerged and same will also be submitted to the Administration for kind consideration of the Administration. Organizers expressed their thanks for the excellent support extended by the Pradhans, unemployed youths and SHGs and their active participation.
