Port Blair, March 05: On today the 5th March 2020 Mr. N.K.Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council inaugurated the newly constructed Welcome Arch at Haddo Ward No-1. Councilors and Officials of the Engineering wing were also present on the occasion. Mr. S.Karunakaran, Councillior Ward No-01 welcomed the gathering. The Chairperson, PBMC Mr. N.K.Udhaya Kumar while addressing the gathering stated that the Welcome arch will further add to the attractiveness of the area as still a large number of tourists visit these Islands via ship. Large numbers of local residents were also present on the occasion. The Civic Chief further said that the Port Blair Municipal Council is working round the clock to make the city clean and green.
