Port Blair, Feb 23: A Model Science Centre was inaugurated at Govt. Middle School, Wandoor on 19.02.2020 by Smti. Shabnam Mazumder, Vice Principal, GSSS Manglutan (CRC) in presence of Smti. Satwanti Singh, Head Mistress, Shri. Ram Bala, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Wandoor, Smti. Sukhoda Sil, PSM and Chairman SMC, Smti. Uma Biswas and others.
The Model Science Centre has been opened under Samagra Shiksha Scheme to foster and inculcate innovation and scientific temper among students. It will also act as knowledge hub for resource based studies to educate the community.
