Port Blair, Feb 11: The Chief Secretary, Shri Chetan B. Sanghi launched “Exotic Blu” 300 ml & 500 ml glass bottled packaged drinking water today. Exotic Blu, Port Blair is now set to introduce glass bottle for packaged drinking water across Islands, and propose to launch a 1 Ltr glass bottle soon.
Exotic Blu’s glass bottles are designed for re-use, wherein customers have the option to drink the water and return the bottle. There will also be an option to make a single time small deposit and take the bottle away. The water is priced same as pet bottles. The water in these bottles is healthier and tastes better compared to plastic bottle.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary appreciated the initiative taken by Shri Zeeshan Ghani of Exotic Blu, and emphasized that this would go a long way in helping cleanup the environment in the islands, especially the sea shore and the beaches.
