Port Blair, Feb 09: On 06/02/2020 Shri Gopal Mahato S/o Late Kishore Mahato R/o Rajiv Nagar 01 Km, C/Bay came to PS Campbell Bay with the complaint of theft of his Gold Ornaments weighing about 14 grams from his house. Upon this the Police team consisting of ASI SDS Bansal, I/C PS Campbell Bay, HC/868 P.C Das and PC/246 Dhanraju swung into action and collected some material evidences from the spot and thereafter examined some possible suspects and zeroed on one person namely Sujoy Mridha S/o Shri Kena Mridha (26)yrs Private Labour R/o Sunder Ban, Post Choto Molla Khali, Village Juddar Para -3, PS Coastal South 24 Paragana West Bengal, now at old fishermen colony C/Bay with the 100% recovery of stolen gold ornaments.
The entire operation was carried out under the supervision of Shri Jagdev Singh Yadav, DANIPS, SDPO Campbell Bay.
