Port Blair, Sep 06: Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, Pradesh Congress Committee urged the Secretary (Forest) cum Principal Chief Conservator of Forests for obtaining early concurrence of the authority concerned as regard the Reserve Forest and CRZ clearances so that the road between Shoal Bay 15 to Shoal Bay 19 can be constructed as early as possible.
Mr Sharma accompanied with the PRI members and the general public residing in around Shoalbay met him and appraised him about the difficulties being faced by the commuters from years due to non availability of road.
The Secretary (Forest) cum PCCF informed the delegation that the concerned departments of the AN Administration are actively involved in process of obtaining Environmental clearances as regard to Reserved Forest and CRZ and assured that the grievances of the people will be mitigated as early as possible.
