Port Blair, Jan 27: As part of Police Raising week celebrations – 2020, on 22/01/2020 the Campbell Bay Police Station had organized games/cultural activities viz Tug of War & Rangoli Competition for the staff. The best performers were selected and prizes were distributed at the Police Station.
Further, on the same day a Drawing Competition on “Swatch Bharat” was organized at Govt. Primary School, Campbell Bay in which 35 students participated and painted on the above topic. The painting competition was aimed to inculcate awareness among the school children about swatchata abhiyan and various steps being taken by the Govt. to ensure “Swatchata hi Seva Mission” across India.
Apart from the above, on the same day, a Open Badminton Tournament was organized by PS Campbell Bay at ALHW Hall Campbell Bay, in which many local youths participated. The Campbell Bay Police is committed to encourage sports/cultural activities under the “Yuva” scheme of A&N Police.
