Port Blair, Jan 28: Under the program of Sarkar Janta Ke Dawar, Mr. Awanish Kumar IAS, Deputy Commissioner North & Middle Andaman today visited one of the remotest villages of North Andaman, Nischintapur under Diglipur Tehsil with all HODS.
Villagers, men and women excitedly welcomed him and all HODs by playing Drums. DC addressed the villagers and heard all the grievances one by one directly from the villagers and directed all the concerned HODs to resolve their difficulties as early as possible.
PRI Members also highlighted various issues related to the Development of the Panchayat. He assured the PRI members that he is always with the PRI members and villagers for the welfare and development of the region.
DC visited The Rural Health Centre at Nischintapur and talked to the staffs.
PRI members and public expressed their gratitude to the DC, Mr. Awanish Kumar for extraordinary efforts to reconstruct the wooden bridge which was washed out during heavy flood in the last year. It has been observed that DC’s concept of Sarkar Janta ke Dear make a tremendous impact in the development process of the District.
