Port Blair, Dec 31: A King Cobra snake was rescued by the staff of Forest Department this morning from a house situated in the Chouldary area.
As per reports, the snake was 1.5 meters long and was weighing around 2.5 kg. It is learnt that the snake was in extreme trouble after getting trapped into the net. However, Deputy Ranger Manjit Singh, skilled in catching venomous snakes, rescued the snake in record time and shifted the snake to the Mini Zoo.
