Port Blair, Dec 22: In view of the Bye-Election to be held for the vacancy created in Gram Panchayat Milangram-2 of Laxmipur Constituency under Diglipur Tehsil, Dec 29, 2019 (Poll day) and Dec 30, 2019 (Counting day) will be observed as ‘Dry Day’ in the North & Middle Andaman District. No liquor shops, hotels, restaurants, clubs and establishments selling/serving liquor shall be permitted to sell/serve liquor to anyone whosoever on Dec 29 & 30, 2019 on Poll day and Counting day respectively.
This order is applicable to IMFL vending licences i.e. ANIIDCO, CSD Canteen, all Defence Canteens, Police Mess and all private Bar licences, functioning in the North & Middle Andaman District.
