Port Blair, Dec 18: A POCSO case has been registered against a youth of Great Nicobar for impregnating a minor girl (16 +) of Great Nicobar.
The matter came into light when ANMs, who are visiting various villages, found a minor girl pregnant and the matter was reported to police.
The accused (18+) has been arrested and kept under transit remand as he will be brought to Port Blair so that he could be produced before the court.
