Port Blair, Dec 06: Today, on 06/12/19 morning at 0400 hrs, a dead body of a person was recovered by the staff of PS Bambooflat from sea shore area of Shore Point near Durga Puja Pandal. The deceased was later identified as Mr. D. Nok Raj S/o Sh. Ponnaih (47) yrs R/o Tappu Basthi, Bambooflat, a private labourer by profession.
In this connection, a case under relevant section of the law has been registered at PS Bambooflat and is being investigated.
The body was actually sighted by someone last evening and after search for whole night the body was finally located this morning.
