Port Blair’s Clock Tower shows timing of four different time zones

Port Blair, Sept 02: It seems that the Port Blair Municipal Council has taken a commendable step to promote international tourism in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Perhaps this is the reason why four watches of Clock Towers show four different timings, perhaps time of four different time zones. However, now one actually knows the name of these Time Zones?

“Sadly Port Blairians always fail to acknowledge the contribution of PBMC and accuse the council of maintaining wrong timings in all these clocks. Naïve people of Port Blair city perhaps have no idea about promotion of International Tourism in A & N Islands,” says our Ghanta Ghar Correspondent.
