Port Blair, Aug 30: An electric pole today fell on the Garacharma road blocking the road for nearly half-n- hour. According to report the incident happened when a Cargo Jeep slightly touched the pole, while it was coming in reverse direction. Sources said that the electric pole was already weak and feeble and fell immediately. However, no one was injured. Meanwhile a case has been registered under section 279 for damaging public property.
