Port Blair, Oct 24: In order to eradicate the menace of illegal sale of liquor from the society, the South Andaman District Police have been continuously making all possible efforts. During the relentless pains, the team of Police Station Aberdeen seized a total 224 Nos. of IMFL bottles.
On 23/10/2019, on receipt of credible information, the team of PS Aberdeen led by Insp. Sanjay Kumar, SHO PS Aberdeen comprising SI P. Jeevan, HC Sunil Singh Yadav, PCs Neelkant Rao, Suresh Kumar, Vinod Linya & Samsuddin conducted raid near Fisheries Jetty, Phoenix Bay and recovered a total 224 Nos. of IMFL bottles from the possession of accused namely A. Pandi S/o Late. T. Addikalan, 43 yrs R/o Phoenix Bay.
The entire operation took place under Ms. Sandhya Swamy, IPS, SDPO South Andaman and under the overall direction and supervision of Shri. Manoj C., IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District. The general public is requested to share information pertaining to any crime or other illegal activities to Police at 112, 03192-232100 & 03192-233077. The identity of the informant will be kept secret.
