Port Blair, Oct 10: Some villagers of Car Nicobar on 5th October 2019 have found a bomb or landmine like object buried deep inside earth. According to the details the bomb or landmine like object was found nearly 150 meters away from the BSNL tower of Arong Village of Car Nicobar. The bomb or landmine like object is covered by Iron Lid like Structure and after reporting of this matter to Police, the area has been barricaded and villagers have been asked to stay away from the place.
According to reports the SHO of PS Car Nicobar and SP Nicobar District have visited the placed and inspected the site. According to reports the Andaman and Nicobar Command has been informed about the suspected object and police is presently waiting for bomb disposal unit.
