Port Blair, Sept 05: The Poshan Abhiyan is observed during September, 2019. As part of it, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Regional Centre Port Blair is celebrating the “Poshan Mhaa” at its premises on Friday 6th September, 2019 at 3.30 pm. The Regional Centre has invited the students of Bridge Programme –Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (BPCCHN), Certificate Food and Nutrition (CFN), Nutrition and Child Care, Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE), Master of Science in Dietetics and Food Service Management (MSC-DFSM) and other academic programmes of IGNOU. Shri Anil Dhiman, Demonstration Officer, Community Food and Nutrition Extension Unit, Govt. of India, Port Blair will be delivering the special lecture on “Nutritional Status of Andaman & Nicobar Islands Population”. All are invited.
