Port Blair, Sept. 03: As part of the Swacchta Pakwada 2019, Mission Jal Sakti Abhiyan, the Indira Gandhi National Open University, Regional Centre, Port Blair is organizing a Seminar and awareness programme on “Watershed Development and Management at its premises on 4th September, 2019 at 3.30 pm. IGNOU students, students from other educational institutions and the general public will attend the programme. Dr. (Mrs.) Sirisha Adamala, Scientist, ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair will be delivering the lecture on the topic ‘Watershed Development and Management. Other activates under ‘Water Conservation’, like forming Jal Shakthi Team, water conservation activities and Rain Water Harvesting are also planned.
