Port Blair, Sept 03: Anticipating illegal sale of liquor and bootlegging activities, South Andaman Police cracked down on bootleggers during Ganesh Puja celebration and conduct special raids to curb down the activities of illegal sale of liquor to avoid any public nuisance and disruption of peace during Ganesh Puja. As informed by some officials sources, south Andaman police registered 40 cases in the span of 2 days and this action will be continued till the festival ends, it is learnt.
