Port Blair, August 23: MyAndaman Entrepreneurs Award 2019 is an initiative to “empower the entrepreneurs” of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Since its launch on 22 July for the first edition, we are receiving immense nominations from a different quarter of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Many public nominations for social work or people with a different contribution to our islands have been received for sports, humanity struggle etc. It was surprising to receive a few nominations in the category of innovation by a few islanders who have patented their idea. Many business owners have nominated their employee for their long term service, loyalty and honesties. We are also receiving the request to extend the last date for nominations as due to poor connectivity many could not get through the process of
applying. So, we are happy to extend the last date of application until 28th August 2019.
Further, it is said that the award night would be held at Dr BR Ambedkar Auditorium in the last week of September in the presence of who-is-who of our islands. Anyone who is doing any business, shops, contractors, pharmaceuticals, clinics, private schools, tuitions centre, tour operators, hotel, food truck, NGO, self-help groups, handicrafts, startups, agriculture, farmers, fisheries, sports fishing, ship repairing, etc can apply for the MyAndaman Entrepreneurs Award 2019. There is no fee or charges etc for applying or receiving the awards said the organizers. To apply you have to choose whom you are applying for like Your Business, Yourself as an entrepreneur, Your Employee or a Social worker. You also need to select the best you are at Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction, Management, Innovation, Technology, and Automation. If you are not sure for any information you can select “not sure” and team MyENA will help you.
To apply you can download the android mobile app “MyENA” or visit the website www.myena.in/apply.php or call, SMS or WhatsApp to 90085 24726 / 94742 46972 or submit an application to the office of MyENA, Startup Warehouse, Department of Industries, Middle Point, Port Blair. This event is not a competition but recognition for hard work the entrepreneurs of our island are doing to run the economy of our tiny islands. So I appeal to the people of islands to use this opportunity and participate in whole heartedly. A trophy with a certificate would be given to all awardees.
