Port Blair, Aug 22: Showing prompt action one Head Constable and One Police Constable of PS Humphery Gunj today saved life of one resident of Lal Pahad.
According to reports the Lal Pahad resident, Mr. Ashik Ali today attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison at around 5.00 PM. On receiving information, a Sarthak Bike Patrol Team, consisting of Head Constable, Abdul Basheer and Constable Sheetal Das quickly reached the spot and shifted Mr. Ashik Ali to PHC Chouldary and thus his life was saved, after intervention of the Doctors of PHC Chouldary.
Public of the area have appreciated the Bike Patrol Team members. As per details Mr. Ashik Ali was under depression because of family problems.
