Port Blair, Aug 23: Around 375 NCC cadets including girls, ANOs and Caretakers from various Islands, visited submarine INS Sindhuraj today i.e on 23.08.2012 at 3PM. The Submarine had come from Vishakapatanam. The cadets were thrilled to be on board the submarine and experienced the tough life of the officers and men of submarine arm. The Commanding Officer of the submarine Commander Jalaj Srivastava briefed the cadets about the life on board submarine and the role of it during war.
After having visited INS Sindhuraj, the cadets considered themselves to be the luckiest lot to avail this rare opportunity. The Commanding Officer, Cdr. John E Mathew thanked Cdr. Jalaj Srivastava and his team for extending kind cooperation. A communication received here said.
