Port Blair, August 7: It is brought to the notice of the general public and consumers of Electricity Department that in order to stop unauthorized use of electricity, the competent authority has constituted a Vigilance Squad headed by Assistant Engineer along with the staff of Electricity Department.
This squad will conduct door to door inspection on random for checking Energy consumption, meter reading, unauthorized connection if any, CTs connection, meter seal, total connected load and any other matters related to the unauthorized use of electricity. In this regard, the general public is kindly requested to extend their complete support to this Squad in the execution of their assigned work.
