Port Blair, August 6: Taking great initiative, the traffic unit has installed all new facilities like traffic signal lights, road signs and information hoardings across New Children’s Traffic Park, situated inside Aberdeen Water Sports Complex.
Every day many children visit this park, especially on Sunday evening around 200-300 children come to the park to play and they can learn safety habits too. This park is being operated and maintained by the Traffic Unit of Andaman and Nicobar Police.
Recently Director General of Police, A&N Police Mr Dependra Pathak, IPS inaugurated the revamped Children’s Traffic Park on 23rd July 2019. When Andaman Sheekha spoke to the kids and their parents they appreciated the work of administration and the efforts of police department. Parents pointed out that Children are learning traffic rules while playing, which is a good thing for their future.
