Port Blair, Aug 06: Following heavy rain and gusty wind, today morning a massive gurjan tree fell on a house at Sippighat at around 11.30 AM. The tree fell on the house of Mr. Ravi Naik, a Home Guard Jawan, and completely destroyed the house.
At that time of the incident parents of the Home Guard Jawan, were inside the house but luckily no-one was hurt in this incident. Later Forest, Fire and Police Station Humpherygunj Jawans cleared the tree.
