Port Blair, August 6: In Andaman Group of Islands the high waves in the range of 3.5 – 5.2 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 06-08-2019 to 23:30 hours of 08-08-2019 along the west coast of Andaman Islands from Ten Degree Channel to Coco Channel. Surface Current speeds vary between 61 – 112 cm/sec. Fishermen of Andaman & Nicobar Coast are advised not to venture into the sea during next 48 hours.
In Nicobar Region the high waves in the range of 3.5 – 3.9 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 06-08-2019 to 23:30 hours of 08-08-2019 along the west coast of Nicobar Islands from Ten Degree Channel to Great Channel. Surface Current speeds vary between 41 – 63 cm/sec. Fishermen of Andaman & Nicobar Coast are advised not to venture into the sea during next 48 hours.
