Port Blair, August 5: All candidates have been informed that the Spot Round Counseling of CSAB NEUT-2019 for allotment of vacant seats of degree level Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy courses reserved at mainland institutions is scheduled to be held in the Auditorium of TGCE from 10 am onwards on Aug 8, 2019. The spot round allotment will be made to candidates as per JEE Main Rank and category-wise vacant seats at the time of counselling. For Engineering course the candidate should have secured at least 45% marks in the 12th class examination, conducted by the respective Boards, with the following five subjects will be considered for calculating the aggregate marks and the qualifying marks for fulfilling criterion:(i) Physics, (ii) Chemistry, (iii) Mathematics, (iv) a language (if the candidate has taken more than one language, then the language with the higher marks will be considered), and (v) any subject other than the above four (the subject with the higher marks will be considered). For Architecture, Passed 10+2 examinations with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of 10+2 level examination.
All eligible and interested candidates have been asked to submit the documents viz. JEE (Main)-2019 Rank/Score Card, XIIth mark sheet, age proof certificate, category certificate, duration certificate to the Development-IV Section (Higher Education Section), Secretariat, Port Blair up to 4.00 pm on or before Aug 7, 2019. The eligible interested candidates are required to bring all educational qualification certificates/testimonials and other documents in support of their category in original along with one-self attested copy as prescribed by the CSAB NEUT-2019 in their Information Brochure except Demand Draft for spot round counselling on the date time and venue as specified above. In addition, the candidates are also requested to bring two passport size photographs identical to the one pasted on the JEE (Main) 2019 application form and 2 permanency certificates for sureties.
Further, the aspiring students have been advised to ensure that he/she fulfils the state eligibility criteria during Spot Round Counseling. Further details in this regard can be obtained from the CSAB website www.csab.nic.in. In case, if a candidate denied admission by the respective State/ Institute, it will be solely responsible for the candidate, neither the A&N Administration nor the Govt. of India, MHRD or CSAB NEUT-2019 would be responsible.
