Port Blair, Aug 22: It was a nightmare for several dozens of diesel vehicles owners, who filled diesel from Bhatubasti Petrol Pump since last night till early this morning. According to reports due to some leakages in the underground diesel tank of the petrol pump, water filled inside the diesel tank after heavy rainfall yesterday. Those who filled diesel from the said petrol pump got their vehicle’s engine seized as water went inside the fuel pump of the vehicles and inside other crucial parts.
Soon dozens of angry people reached the petrol pump and demanded refund of their money and apology.
“We don’t know how did it happen but we have refunded money to all the customers, who filled diesel from our petrol pump since last night,’ a staff of Bhatubasti Petrol Pump told Andaman Sheekha when questioned.
