Port Blair, July 31: As part of a month-long celebration of ’70th Van Mahotsav’, the National Student’s Union of India NSUI A&N islands organized a mass tree plantation drive at Govt.Boys Sr Sec School Middle Point. Chief Guest on this occasion was Mrs Ratna Kannan Ex-Chairperson Social welfare Board and Guest of honour was MrJohn Rober,t State President Pradesh Youth Congress A&N Islands. While addressing the gathering Mrs Ratna Kannan highlighted the importance of trees in our day to day life and urged the participants to conserve trees for a Better.
Earlier, Mr.M.A.Sajid State President NSUI welcomed the gathering while the programme culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by the Mr V.K.Najeeb Siddique (State General Secretary Pradesh youth Congress)Mr Saurav Nair, Mr.Nishit Biswas, Mr.Rishab Shaw, Mr Harish, NSUI Leader also Present.
