Rangat, July 29: A mass dharna was been organised by Congress workers of Rangat area today on the issue of closure of local quarries and also against transfer of labourers of APWD to other departments. The protest was headed by Mr. Rangalal Halder, Pradhan Janajpur.
Public during the rally alleged that closure of quarries will trigger unemployment and wrong policy of transfer labourers to other department from APWD will create havoc. They also demanded a regular appointment of labourers against the vacant posts.
