Fisheries Department to distribute fish seed to farmers

Port Blair, July 23: The Department of Fisheries has produced fish seed of Indian Major Carps (IMC) at Fish Seed Farm, Nayagaon. The seed is ready for distribution. The interested farmers have been requested to collect the fish seed from the place of distribution. The cost of each oxygenated packet of seed is Rs. 50 and the payment has to be made on the spot. The distribution of fish seed to interested fish farmers will be made as per the schedule is given below:-
