Port Blair, July 21: A King Cobra has been caught from New Bimblitak area yesterday by the Deputy Ranger, Forest Department, Mr Manjit Singh, the snake-man of Andaman and his team.
According to details, the King Cobra is 8 foot long and 3 KG in weight and was caught from Coconut vinegar factory after public reported about sighting of a King Cobra.
After information Deputy Ranger, Manjeet Singh with staffs M.Raju and Mr. Solomon reached the spot and caught the King Cobra and shifted it to Mini Zoo.
The King Cobra was rescued at night 9:45 PM and information was received in Wildlife Division at 9:30 PM.
