Port Blair, July 21: One person namely Mr. T Ganesh S/o Mukund Rao, r/o Pathar Gudda today fell into the sea while travelling from Bambooflat to Chatham at around 1640 hrs.
The accident occurred when the vehicle ferry reached mid sea
As per details the boat staffs threw life-buoy to save his life. After getting information, the SDPO Bambooflat also reached the spot along with the staff of PMF and rescued him.
Mr. T Ganesh was admitted at CHC Bambooflat for treatment and till last report he was unable to give any statement and hence the reason of the accident is not yet known.
