Port Blair, Jun 17: The Indira Gandhi National Open University offers a wide range of academic programmes for different target groups. The First Aid, Disaster Management, Environment and Occupational Health, Plantation Management, BA in Anthropology, Hindi, English, Political Science, History, Urdu, , Economics, Mathematics, Sociology, Public Administration; B.Sc in Geography, Geology, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics; MA in Anthropology, Distance Education, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Social Work are aimed at functionaries working in Army / Navy / Air Force departments. To reach the aimed primary target groups, the IGNOU-Regional Centre-Port Blair is organizing a special admission camp for Army / Navy / Air Force departments’ Personnel of Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Monday to Wednesday, 17-19 June, 2019 from 9.30 AM to 6 PM.
During the camp, the Regional Centre staff will provide the complete details of the Courses & subject papers, provide / display the Study Materials, demonstrate downloaded assignments, highlight the schedule of activities (both Payment related & Academic activities) of IGNOU student etc. A special handout and previous year exam Question Papers will also be distributed to the visitors. The Regional Director Dr. S. Ganesan will give admission counselling to all the participants, in group as well as individual guidance. The admission camp for Army / Navy / Air Force departments’ Personnel will be coordinated by Ms. Asma Bibi Semi-Professional Assistant (Ph.
