Port Blair, May 12: The Baratang region of Middle Andaman got some relief from low voltage and power cut problem after one 1MW DG set has been reportedly installed at Rangat Power House. Talking to Andaman Sheekha former Zilla Parishad member of Baratang, Mr. G Kurma Rao today said that the installation of the DG set has brought good relief for resident of Baratang Island.
On Friday last a dharna was organized by a group of people of Baratang region against long power cut and low voltage situation.
We are suffering daily ling hours power cut from past one and half months in mayabunder. Morning 4 to 5hrs cut afternoon 2 hrs cut at night after 11pm power cut. Why administration is silent?
