Port Blair, Aug 13: A Dental check up camp for the benefit of all Coast Guard Personnel and families was organised at the Tatrakshak Vihar, Haddo under the aegis of the Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (CGWWA), Port Blair. The aim of the camp was to provide all personnel of the Coast Guard, specially ladies and children a quick update on their dental health. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr Pavitra Sharma with the medical team of Coast Guard MI Room in support.
The camp was well attended by the members of the CG fraternity who were also briefed upon the various aspects of maintaining good dental hygiene which in turn was a key to ova-all good health and well being.
Mrs Jyoti Murthy, President CGWWA (A&N) along with all committee members of the organisation also enthusiastically participated in the camp and encouraged all families of Coast Guard for the dental checkup. The camp concluded with the President, CGWWA (A&N) presenting a memento to Dr Pavitra Sharma and thanking her for readily sparing her valuable time for this noble social cause.
