Port Blair, Apr 10: The Superintendent of police (South Andaman) Mr. Deepak Yadav, IPS has urged public not to use any communication device like mobile phones around 100 mtrs area of polling stations.
Talking exclusively with Andaman Sheekha, the Superintendent of Police Deepak Yadav, IPS has requested people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to cast their vote freely and fairly and not to fall for any temptations.
Mr. Yadav requested people to maintain order in the polling stations and mentioned that videographery and photography inside the polling stations are prohibited. He said that within 200 mtrs area no vehicles will be allowed. Mr. Yadav also requested the people to follow the guidelines of staffs at polling booth on the day of polling to ensure smooth and peaceful polling. (additional input by Avinash Shahi)
