Port Blair, Apr 08: This has brought to the notice of all concerned that Poll shall be taken for Andaman & Nicobar Islands Parliamentary Constituency on 11.04.2019 (Thu) between 7.00 AM to 6.00 PM. Polling Station assigned to each Polling Party shall be disclosed only on the day of distribution of polling materials i.e. on 10th April, 2019 (Wednesday). Polling materials shall be distributed from Netaji Stadium and JNRM is designated as the collection centre.
The Polling Parties of Port Blair Tehsil pertaining to Strait Island, Rut Land, Badakhari and Polling Stations of Swaraj Dweep & Saheed Dweep will have to proceed early in the morning of 10.04.2018 by Boat/Dengie. Such Polling Parties shall be informed over Telephone. They shall report to the distribution centre at 6.00 AM on 10.04.2019. Rest of the polling team of Port Blair Tehsil shall report the distribution centre by 10.00 AM on 10.04.2019 in the morning. The polling parties of Ferrargunj Tehsil shall report to the distribution centre at 08.00 AM on 10.04.2019.
The reserve Polling Staff of Port Blair & Ferrargunj Tehsil shall be seated in the Andaman Club opposite to Netaji Stadium on the day of distribution of Polling Materials. The reserve staff of Port Blair Tehsil shall report the District Control Room at Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Port Blair and the reserve staff of Ferrargunj Tehsil shall report to the Tehsil Office Ferrargunj at 04.30 AM on the day of Poll i.e. on 11.04.2019.
