Port Blair, Apr, 03: To strengthen the impact of Rajbhasha in Office, Anthropological Survey of India, Port Blair organised Quarterly Workshop on Rajbhasha at conference Hall of Anthropological Survey of India on 29th March.
The workshop aimed to build an atmosphere of Rajbhasa in institution for a proficient role to strengthen the official language. The workshop was held in the Presence of Head of Office Dr. Nilanjan Khatua, and distinguished Speaker, Dr. N. Laxmi, Assistant Professor, Head of Department, Hindi, Andaman College, Special Guest Dr. Venketeswara Rao, Deputy Director, Directorate of census operations, A&N Islands, Mr. Kundan Lal, District Coordinator, Neheru Yuva Kendra, A&N and Ms. Banita Behera, OIC, Hindi.
During the workshop Dr. Laxmi highlighted the important points on Hindi Translation and Note writing in Hindi in office to the participants through a power-point presentation. Dr. Venketeswara Rao, Deputy Director, Directorate of census operations graced the inaugural moment as Special Guest and appreciated the Rajbhasha Section of AnSI for their active role in preserving Official Language through different activities. Later on a brainstorming discussion carried out amongst the speaker and other present special guests and participants regarding the topic. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Banita Behera, OIC, Rajbhasha, Anthropological Survey of India, Port Blair.
