Port Blair, Mar 27: Andaman and Nicobar Islands today witnessed heavy rain and lightening since morning to afternoon. Meanwhile lightening today reportedly caused severe damages to people of South Andaman area.
According to sources,alone in Bhatu Basti area nearly 40 Set top Boxes got fried due to lightening while from Junglighat area there are reports that nearly 19 set-top boxes got damaged. Not only this, there are also reports of damages in TV, Fridges and other electrical appliances due to Mega-lightening today.
