Port Blair, Mar 22: The Party President Thalapathi M.K.Stalin, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Andaman and Nicobar State Committee in a meeting convened on 13.03.2019 had unanimously resolved to lend support to the Congress Candidate representing the Andaman & Nicobar Parliamentary Constituency in the ensuring Lok Sabha Election 2019. The decision to support Congress has been taken to defeat the BJP and its allies as the Bharatiya Janta Party has encroached upon the sovereignty of constitutional bodies like CBI, RBI, Enforcement Directorate including the Judiciary of the country and the BJP has posed itself as a potential threat to the secularism and unity of the country, said A.L Kulandai, State Organiser.
A.L Kulandai, State Organiser said “As the Party President Thapalathi M.K.Stalin is certain and confident of our association with Congress would ensure victory for the alliance in all the 41 seats we contest in Tamilnadu, Pondicherry and A&N Islands”.
