Port Blair, Aug 06: Advocating the problems being faced by the residents of Lilipur Basti, Haddo in connection with digging of footpath in a very dangerous way by one of the resident of the area, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, Pradesh Congress Committee along with resident of the area met the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mr Yogesh Pratap at 9.30AM today.
Mr Sharma approached Mr Kumar for immediate amicable solution so that the problems being faced by the residents for a long time are sorted out.
Mr. Sharma who has also visited the site yesterday, opined that in case immediate action is not initiated, it is feared that fatal accidents may occur any moment resulting loss of valuable lives and properties. Mr Pratap, SDM has assured that he will look into the matter immediately so that the problems are sorted out for ever.
The residents of Lillipur Basti have recorded their sincere gratitude towards Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma for taking up their matter with concerned authority.
