Port Blair, Feb 18: On 15.02.2019, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, MP in presence of Chairperson, PBMC, Councillors of respective Municipal Wards and villagers has laid the foundation stone to the works of Central Road Fund at various locations in Port Blair Municipal Area.
In Municipal Ward No.22(Brichgunj) for 4 works of re-surfacing and improvement of black top roads. Total amount sanctioned for these works for Rs:1.98 Crores.
In Municipal Ward No.19(Pathargudda) for 10 works for improvement, re-surfacing of roads and construction of new roads with side drain. Total amount sanctioned for these works of Rs:2.33 crores.
In Municipal Ward No.9(Lambaline)for 7 works for improvement, widening, up gradation of existing roads, side drains, retaining wall, construction of new black top roads and c.c. motorable road. Total amount sanctioned for these works of Rs:3.13 crores.
In Municipal ward No.15(Schooline)for one work for construction of new black top road. . Total amount sanctioned for this work of Rs:42.31 Lkhs.
In Municipal Ward No.10(Shadipur) for 7 works for improvement and construction of new black top road, side drains, pcc retaining and construction of parking area. Total amount sanctioned for these works of Rs:1.65 crores.
In Municipal Ward No.11(Southpoint) for 3 works for improvement and construction of new black top roads, drains and culverts. . Total amount sanctioned for these works of Rs:43.73lakhs.
In Municipal Ward No.12(Nayagaon) for one work of new black top road with retaining wall and side drain. . Total amount sanctioned for this work of Rs:75.45 lakhs.
In Municipal Ward No.16(Old Pahargaon) for three works of construction of black top roads with RCC retaining wall. Total amount sanctioned for these works of Rs:33.43 crores, a communication received from Office Secretary, MP Office.
