Port Blair, Aug 05: The Human Right Organisation in a letter addressed to the Superintending Engineer, Construction Circle No.I, APWD has requested to take necessary action for immediate construction of water tank of high capacity so that the people residing in Attam Pahad and Dollygunj villages may get relief from water crises in the area.
“The earlier water tank was constructed for nearly 100 families but now the population of ward number 12 and 13 or Attam pahar has increased to nearly 500 and this is the reason why construction of a high capacity tank is so important,” a release from HRO said here today.
