Port Blair, Feb 04: The Mahila Block Congress Committee and Block Congress Committee, Bamboo Flat staged Dharna in front of the Community Health Center, Bamboo Flat 10 AM to 12.00 PM on 04.02.2019 to draw the attention of the Directorate of Health Services and A&N Administration on deteriorating health care facilities at CHC, Bamboo Flat, which has become major concern for the people residing in the villages lying in vicinity of the CHC, Bamboo Flat. The Dharna was conducted for early fulfilment of genuine needs residents who are utilizing the medical facilities viz. Regular supply of medicine, Regular Posting of Gynaecologist, Scheduled visit of Speciality and Super Speciality Doctors, Posting of Technicians for O.T & E.C.G, Setting up of Dialysis unit, Construction of R.C.C Ramp for Special ward and Children ward located at first floor , Construction of waiting Shed for Mortuary, Providing of New Ambulance, Keeping a standby Vehicle Ferry at night for transfer of serious patients from CHC Bamboo Flat to G.B. Pant Hospital.
The Dharna was attended by Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, PCC President, Miss. Mariyam Bibi, Working President, Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee, Smt. Ratna Kannan, Vice President, Andaman DCC, Mr. V.K.Aziz, TCC member, Mr. John Robert, State Youth Congress President, Mr. Gyan Prakash Krishna, Mr. Ali Haji, Ms. Ambujam, Mr. Sadaqat, Mr. O. Abdul Aziz, other senior leaders of the Party, PRI members and local residents in large number.
