Diglipur, Feb 1: Aid and appliances distribution camp held today morning in conference hall of administrative building at Diglipur. The programme was held under the scheme of Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) and Rashtra Vayoshree Yojna (RVY) and was organized by ICDS Project Diglipur under the banner of Directorate of Social Welfare.
Mr. P.Srinivas Rao, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad N & M Andaman grace the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed assistive devices like wheel chair, Smart cane, walking stick & hearing aids to 105 beneficiaries in presence of Mr. M P Rajmohan, Block Development Officer, Diglipur and Smt. Irene Nicolas, CDPO, Diglipur. A large number of Divyangjan villager and senior citizens were present in camp. Vote of thanks was proposed by Smt. Suniti Kumari, Mukhya Sevika.
